Large working volume

The working volume of 2.1 l provides FourStroke outboard engines a significant power reserve, which means increased reliability, longer service life, higher starting speed, incredible acceleration and an impressive top speed. Large working volume, and possible Command Thrust allow to achieve maximum efficiency.

Better acceleration

Enlarged reducer CT helps to lift the heavy body from the water and to maintain planing at a low speed. The gear ratio of 2.38:1 allows the engine to quickly gain speed and develop the torque.

Reverse rotation

Mercury offers the first FourStroke engine capacity of 115 HP with left-hand rotation. Adding a model with a reverse rotation allows you to achieve neutral steering and excellent response for twin-engine installations. Two 115 HP Command Thrust motor on the transom provide the maneuverability and safe return home, and two powerful powerplant, but much cheaper.
